On June 8 Star Wars™: Knights of the Old Republic™ II: The Sith Lords is being released on the Nintendo Switch™, the much-loved, portable platform. So that you can experience this classic from a long time ago in a galaxy with far improved graphics. Thanks to Lucasfilm Games and Aspyr, the developers behind this platform transition, you will be able to make the hyperspace jump to HD cinematics, textures, UI and resolution.
The Sith Lords is the standalone sequel to the original, award-winning RPG Star Wars™: Knights of the Old Republic™. The franchise is set 4000 years before Star Wars™: Episode I - The Phantom Menace. In a time when the Jedi have been all but wiped out by the Sith Lords. And the Old Republic is on the brink of collapse. Their survival lies in the hands of an exiled jedi with no recollection of their past, trying to regain their connection with the force. Your choices determine the fate of the Galaxy as you bring together your crew of misfits and follow the path of peace or passion as you align yourself with the Light or Dark side of the Force.
Pausable Real-Time Combat
With a third-person perspective and pausable real-time combat the Knights Of the Old Republic™ games offer a unique playstyle that lies somewhere between live action and turn-based as you issue commands to each team member.
Choose Your Fighting Style
Your character is highly customisable with numerous classes, powers, weapons, armours and fighting styles to choose from. Whether you want to specialise in blasters, vibroswords, lightsabers or thermal detonators, prefer to single or dual wield, play it fast and light in robes or tank it up in heavy armour, these options are all available to you.
Master the Force
Decide whether your allegiance is to the light or dark side of the force. Your actions dictate whether you are going to be Jedi, Sith or something in between. Every choice gains favour or enmity with other characters along with light or dark force points, entirely altering who stands with or fights against you as you turn the tide in favour of the Jedi or embrace the dark side and overthrow the balance with the Sith.
